Repair Bay Evolution is a platform used by auto body shops to communicate with their customers about vehicle repairs. SMS text messages are sent to customers only after explicit consent has been obtained.
Before any SMS text message is sent to a customer, the auto body shop must collect explicit consent from the customer. This is done through our application using a dedicated consent step:
SMS messaging is not enabled for a customer until this consent step is completed. The consent button requires an affirmative action by the shop employee to confirm that verbal consent was obtained.

Messages are only sent when there is relevant information about your vehicle repair. No marketing, promotional, or advertising messages are sent.
Message frequency varies based on your repair order activity. You will only receive messages when there are updates or communications related to your active repair.
You can opt out of SMS text messages at any time by:
Once opted out, you will not receive further SMS text messages unless you provide consent again.
To opt back in after opting out, reply START to the number you previously received messages from, or ask the auto body shop to re-confirm your consent through the platform.

Your phone number and consent status are stored securely and are only accessible to the auto body shop you have a repair order with.
